About Physical therapy
Physical Therapy helps people with a functional decline and physical disabilities through developmental disorders, illnesses, injuries and advancing age. The focal point of Physical Therapy is to make an assessment through clinical examination and measurement of the range of motion, muscular strength and motion analysis. It leads to medical treatment and training using kinesitherapy and physiotherapy upon determination of causes. The science of Physical Therapy benefits patients regaining the capacity to do activities of daily living and readapting to life at home and in the community.
The Division of Physical Therapy aims to produce human resources with the broad knowledge and technical expertise of Physical Therapy to work in healthcare, welfare and education industries, good human qualities and sophistication with a global perspective. The Division is also driven to implement education to develop leaders and educators in clinical practice and educational and research institutes.
