About Occupational therapy
Occupational Therapy for rehabilitation helps those from children to the elderly who are physically or mentally challenged regain everyday life and community engagement through therapeutic practices. It requires a broad range of expertise in clinical medicine such as psychiatry and orthopedics, kinesiology and psychology.
The Division of Occupational Therapy has enriched its program’s course content by incorporating the study of conditions with recent growing concern including dementia, higher cerebral dysfunction, depression and autism. Its curriculum is designed to equip students with advanced technical knowledge and practical skills to meet medical advances and global changes. What is more, we provide students with educational support who aim to make their way not only into professions at medical or welfare providers but also a broader range of job sectors including public administration and private healthcare establishments.
