The Department of Health Sciences in the School of Medicine was set up on October 1, 2003, and consists of five divisions of professional training: Nursing, Radiological Technology, Laboratory Sciences, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.
These medical professionals play an irreplaceable role in the medical field.
Students who entered as undergraduates in 2004 have graduated in 2008 and at that time, the Master’s degree (2 year) course was set up.A doctoral course was set up in 2010 to establish a leadership position in each occupation and set up personnel training and education researcher facilities through out the world.
Relationships of Faculty of HS, Graduate School of HS and Department of HS in the School of Medicine
The undergraduate students are educated at the School of Medicine and education for the Master’s degree or higher education is at the Graduate School of Health Sciences, independent of the School of Medicine.
The Faculty of Health Sciences is the name of the organization with the teaching staff, the Graduate School of Health Sciences and the Department of Health Sciences are the names of the educational organization for students, post-graduate and undergraduate, respectively.
