Dept. of Rehabilitation Science
Department of Rehabilitation Science is a research organization established in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
We have 15 faculties specializing physical therapy, physical medicine and rehabilitation, orthopedics, sports science and neuroscience.
In our research field, we focused on motor function under the collaborative interaction between basic and clinical studies related to rehabilitation science and occupational therapy.
We are in charge of education for students in the Division of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, Department of Health Sciences, School of Medicine, Hokkaido University and graduate students in the Graduate School of Health Sciences, Hokkaido University (master course and doctor course).
Our mission is to create physical therapists and researchers with extensive knowledge and skills in rehabilitation science, a rich humanity, and an international sense.
