Subject of Research
Radiation interaction processes in bio-tissue
-analysis of energy transfer in nanometer site by Monte Carlo simulations-
I conduct research visibly handling radiation using computer simulation. By analyzing the reaction of atoms and molecules in a nanometer scale, and tying it to a macroscope quantity, I aim to bridge the basic process into more practical uses.
Message for Examinees
I would like for students interested in mathematics (differential calculus, integral calculus, statistics) and computer programming to experience the practicality and beauty of the theory of physics and statistics. Numerical experiments using simulation not only validates our world of imagination but also expands them.
