|We have found from recent research developments that fatty acid peroxides heavily influence arteriosclerotic disease (e.g. coronary infarction and stroke).|
By attempting various chemosynthesis I was able to develop new analysis methods of fatty acid peroxides. In Alzheimer's disease it has been reported that the blood concentration of a liptide called plasmalogen can decrease. We are also attempting unique methods of synthesis and analysis of plasmalogen.
My research and teachings aims to uncover new causes and diagnosis of diseases such as arteriosclerosis and Alzheimer's disease.
